Cherry Blossom Earrings
LIMITED EDITION
Beautiful Cherry Blossom Agate is a type of flower Agate with inclusions giving the stone a magical, cherry blossom like appearance.
This stone is a relatively newly discovered mineral and generally comes in warm pink, to light orange tones. Although referred to as Agate, it is actually pink/orange chalcedony with white chalcedony inclusion.
The stones were handcut for Lunar James in small batch and have a double terminated design, meaning the stones have a single point at each end.
Double terminated crystals have energy flowing both ways which makes them ideal for healing and spiritual practices. The energy flows in at one point, is transformed within, and releases from the other point. An excellent tool for energy healers and Reiki practitioners to cleanse, and balance the chakras.
Cherry Blossom Agate is believed to be the stone of self-growth, and it is said to send positive energies to the wearers making them bloom to their full potential. Forming a shield, it guards us from our own limitations that hold us back and give us the required spurt we need to grow. Great for clearing the heart chakra as well as solar plexus chakra.

- 14ct Gold Filled: second to solid gold, Gold Filled metal does not loose it's gold layer over time like gold plated jewellery. However, it can tarnish over time after which a gentle clean may be required.

- 22ct Gold Vermeil: all our Gold Vermeil jewellery has a solid Silver base made from recycled 925 Sterling Silver.
We apply, in general, a 2.5 micron layer of 22ct Gold meaning we can legally call our jewellery Gold Vermeil (Gold Plated silver with a layer below 2.5 microns is NOT Gold Vermeil).
For our Playa Luna collection, we have applied a thicker 3 micron layer of 22ct Gold so to increase the time your Gold Vermeil jewellery will remain gold.
Please note that over time, anywhere between 6 months and 3 years (depending on how well you care for your jewellery), the gold will fade away and your Gold Vermeil jewellery will turn into Silver pieces.
A Gold Plating Service is available upon request, please contact us by email.

Here are some easy care instructions to help look after your Lunar James jewellery and keep it in great condition:
- Store your jewellery in a pouch or box.
- Clean gently with a soft cloth.
- Deep clean your non-plated pieces with bicarbonate soda and vinegar: applies to brass, sterling silver, copper and gold (NOT TO GOLD FILL or GOLD VERMEIL)
- It is best not to sleep, shower or exercise whilst wearing your jewellery.
- Avoid dropping your jewellery onto hard surfaces.
- Sprays and creams including soap, perfume, moisturiser and suncream can cause damage to some acrylic pieces and metal components so it is best to remove your jewellery before using any of these products.
